Workshop – Handbuilding (07) – Tripod Mug (July 29, 2026)

$65.00

Our in-person hand-building pottery classes teach you to create ceramic projects without a pottery wheel. If you can roll out a slab of clay, you can make beautiful, functional pottery projects like vases, mugs, planters, and items for the garden.

Whether you’re enjoying coffee, tea or hot chocolate, this mug will make every break a little more enjoyable. This is a fun introduction to clay, with lots of creative opportunities. We’ll provide templates, tools, textures, and inspiration. Participants will add decorations to their mug to make it their own unique design.

Participants are responsible for clean-up at the end of class.

Participants must be 10 years of age or older.

Once the project is completed, it will dry for several days. Then the item will be bisque-fired. Next, the item will be glazed and put back into the kiln for a final firing to over 2100° F.
