$75.00
Get ready to get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing! Join us at Lost Villages Brewery for a fun, hands-on pottery workshop where you’ll create your very own handmade ceramic charcuterie plate—all while enjoying a local beer or a glass of wine.
No pottery wheel? No problem! Our in-person hand-building classes teach you how to transform a simple slab of clay into something beautiful and functional. In this workshop, you’ll design and sculpt a one-of-a-kind snacking plate that’s perfect for entertaining, sharing treats, or enjoying a little something delicious.
No pottery experience necessary! Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or trying something new, this workshop is all about having fun, exploring your creativity, and enjoying good company. We’ll provide the clay, templates, tools, textures, and inspiration—you bring your imagination!
What to Expect
-
- A relaxed, beginner-friendly introduction to hand-building with clay.
- All the tools, materials, and inspiration you need to create your own ceramic charcuterie plate.
- A creative, social experience in the welcoming atmosphere of Lost Villages Brewery.
- A handmade piece that you’ll be proud to use and share once it’s finished!
From Clay to Keepsake
Your creation needs a little time and a little heat before it’s ready to use. After the workshop, your piece will dry for several days before its first firing, called a bisque firing. It will then be glazed and returned to the kiln for a final firing at temperatures exceeding 2100°F. Once the process is complete, your one-of-a-kind ceramic creation will be ready to take home!
Good to Know
-
- One beverage ticket per participant.
- Participants must be 12 years of age or older.
- Participants are responsible for cleaning up their workspace at the end of class.
- Finished pieces require drying and firing time, so they will not be ready to take home on the day of the workshop.
Come sip, sculpt, and play! Gather your friends, enjoy a drink, and discover the joy of creating something beautiful with your own two hands.
