Our in-person hand-building pottery classes teach you to create ceramic projects without a pottery wheel. Learn to work with clay to make beautiful, functional pottery projects like vases, mugs, planters, and items for the garden.
This is a fun introduction to clay, with lots of creative opportunities. We’ll provide templates, tools, textures, and inspiration. Participants will choose the design for the wall of their bowl.
Participants are responsible for clean-up at the end of class.
Participants must be 12 years of age or older.
Once the project is completed, it will dry for several days. Then the item will be bisque-fired. Next, the item will be glazed and put back into the kiln for a final firing to over 2200° F. Your project will be ready within 3 to 4 weeks.
Registration and payment is required prior to workshop date.
